Leofoto tripods features 10x carbon fiber tubes that make the tripod lightweight while maintaining a strong load capacity. The 6061 aluminium parts are CNC machined and hard anodized, making the surface tough against scratching and scuffing. The twist leg lock system is quickly deployed with a simple quarter turn. With the tripod's three variable leg angles, it allows you to splay the legs completely out, so the support can drop to a very low minimum height.

The Leofoto PG-3 Carbon Fiber Gimbal Head is crafted from 10 layers of Toray carbon fiber, offering a lightweight yet robust gimbal setup. Its newly designed control knobs are smooth and positioned to avoid interfering with lens movement. The PG-3 allows photographers to track fast-moving subjects with large, heavy telephoto lenses, while the swinging arm can be locked at the desired angle and features a bubble level on the base. The Arca-type compatible camera platform includes height adjustability for precise lens balance, and the printed scale on the swing arm enables repeatable setups. A redesigned Arca plate optimized for long lenses supports both 1/4” and 3/8” screws, making the PG-3 ideal for portability without compromising performance.

*The PG-3 gimbal head is designed with fixed tension, providing a certain level of stiffness to enhance control and stability during use. If you need completely free movement for wildlife photography, please consider the PG-1.
